This is a 7’6" 4/5wt 2pc American Tackle Classic series matte colored blank. BUL5 Nickle silver plated hardware, Rev half wells. Thread main wraps are Scarlet NCP with metallic silver trim, some single turn metallic silver trim, SF guides&hardloy stripper, owners name accented with a couple of Jungle Cock feathers that I curled around her name.

It seems like your work just keeps getting better. I wonder how it is that you get such a crisp edge on your wrap finish?

Thanks Joe. I don’t use anything besides a brush and a steady hand to get the crisp edges. I just do the finish with the rod turning in the dryer and place it near the edge of my work bench that way I can brace my brush hand against the edge of the bench and then steady it with my free hand and let the dryer turn the rod so that the dryer does all the work. That’s the best way I have found for getting a nice straight edge on finish, especially on these matte finish blanks which are not forgiving at all to wavy finish edges.
