Another fine day with the 3wt after big gills. While I did not get pics of all gills, I DID include pics of the smallest gills (7"-8") along with some of the others.
Make special note of the coloration of the last gill…I have never seen anything like it…the picture is totally accurate!

That funny-looking 'gill… seems to have mostly bluegill features, except the markings on the gill cover. Could be a 2nd generation hybrid maybe?

BTW Mike, all gills not pictured on the dock came out of the pond where your Son, Christian, caught his first “Fish Ohio” gill.
