We took Michael and his Scooby Doo fishing pole down to one of Missouri’s four put and take trout parks last Saturday. They had crafts, casting contests, fly tying lessons, fly casting lessons and all sorts of prizes. Half of the stream was closed just for kids 15 and younger with additional stockings every hour. A wonderful time was had by all young and old alike. Michael landed a couple of real nice stockers.

The kids fishing days at the MO fish parks are a wonderful time for the kids, and everyone else involved in the process. A lot of time and planning goes in to these events, and it obviously pays off … just look at the faces on the kids at days end.
