2006--Year of the "Marco"??

Last year was the year of the ‘tuber…will this be Marcos’ year??..he jumped right outta the gate by winning a flyrod. C’mon Mark, ‘fess up! What’s it gonna be?..a bunch of Grandkids? Maybe a new vehicle? Catchin’ the 1st Grayling in Kneff Lake at the Michigan Fish-In? Someone leaving newborn triplets in a basket on your porch?..You KNOW some great things will happen!! Believe me, I KNOW!!!

Hey Mike,
You’re right again. There was a new grandchild, Hannah, and a new auto, unnamed for fear of capitalistic overtones, and now Kneff Lake Grayling… I hope you’re right again.
CYA in Mich.

Mark,
Hannah’s a real cutie!!..How old is she in that picture?..I bet she’s a Grandpas’ girl…I know mine are. There’s just something about little ladies & Grandpas, isn’t there?..Surely it IS your year!

She don’ look too happy Marco. What happened, did she get a good look at ya?
She’s a little cutey pie isn’t she gang. Takes after grandma I’ll venture. You got her casting loooong yet?

Lew,
I agree…she’s crying. I think the reason for the tears may be found in the appropriate caption to the picture…
“Grandpa, you strapped me into a BMW? Aw you YUPPIE! I wanted a JEEP!”

Do ya blame her for crying? (I bet he DID buy a BMW)
Mike

(Don’t you fret Hannah…your “adopted” Uncle Mikey in Ohio has a Jeep!)

Marco,
Man, what a cutie! Look at those BIG BROWN eyes!!

You’re a lucky fellah.

Jeremy.

Gentlemen,
Thank you the “kind” words ( at least fo Hannah). Actually what you see are tears of joy that grandpa came to visit . Hannah is the newest model in a string of seven. Yes, tis a proud grandpa I am. Unfortunately her dad ( son-in law and dad of four) is a spin fisherman for something called a musiky-musty,miskey??? well something like that and he’ll train her in that direction at least untill I git a holt o the sitchitation.

BTW Mike,
Grandpa DOES have a Jeep also. As you can see in the pict-link, Grandpa almost DIDN’T have a Jeep. And Grandpa almost became an angel ( yeah right!) onaccounta that Jeep. This happened at Jackson Lake Dam in GTNP WYO when my wet wader boot slipped off brake and onto gas pedal. After a $300 tow/retrieval bill, drove right off with a minor dent under pass. door. As you may be able to tell by the license plate,it’s STILL my favorite vehicle.

Mark
PS: I see the plate is not that clear, It’s an Illionis plate " FISH WYO".

Ha! A likely story. I’ll bet you had a lousy morning of fishing, then saw a rise on the way out…

Mark,
I remember when you posted that picture originally here on FAOL. One of those little “close call” type things. I will drive short distances with wet wader boots & since you posted that, I try to be VERY careful when I do.

Hey Mike,
We can now have an all Jeep drag race in Mich if things get a little slow ( hard to imagine but…) Is your Jeep a V 8??
