This customer pretty much gave me free reign to do as I wanted with this rod, just said to use some burl cork, redish wraps and keep it clean looking so my goal on this one for him was to make it as classy looking as I could but still using some burls and such without over doing it. I’m very pleased with the results myself.

The blank is a Rainshadow 10’8" 7wt 4pc, custom grips, Amboyna burl seat with Nickle Silver hardware, snake guides&two strippers with Garnet (no CP) main wraps and silver trim.

How come Steve your basic rods look so much more then basic. A awesome build. the cork work is fantastic. All your wraps look excellent. How I wish I had half your talent.

I love that garnet with no CP. I used it on a GL3 Loomis with a single gold trim band… I think it works super on the right color blank
