I’m hoping everyone is looking forward to the Michigan Fish-In. This year the casting contests are split between two days to make it a bit easier.

We have heard from Jackster, who is busy as ever, and because of a gifted vacation elsewhere will not be with us this year. We will miss him, but maybe someone else will have a chance to win!

It’s sunny, and in the mid 60’s this morning, though it’s supposed to go into the 70’s with a slight chance of pop up thunderstorms this evening, and the rest of the weekend, darn it. As long as we have great weather for the fish-in, I don’t care.

im going up tonight for the fff conclave in roscommon—ill be sure to take a peak at the water—maybe take a few more pics:D

I going to be on Lake Erie tomorrow and a check on the fishing there indicates that the fish fly (hex) hatch is beginning. I think that bodes well for hitting it near Grayling in ten days to two weeks.
