This is indeed an enticing book which allows us a better glimpse of the man behind the myth of G.E.M. Skues also much of the information in these letters has remained unpublished until the letters were edited by C. F. Walker.
I headed off to a pond that is easy to walk into. There had been a deluge the day before and we received three inches of rain in two hours. There was a long chain of red storms on the weather channel and they just kept coming over us. We were supposed to be more rain starting late that evening. That is why the pond was calling my name so I grabbed a 5 weight and a 6 weight that I have not used in a while.
Are fish intelligent and do they think? If you listen to many fly fishers, especially those that fish for trout, the answer would be yes. However, is that really true? Let’s look at some definitions.
