While helping my wife cut out some quilting squares, I
noticed that she had two cutting wheels, one of which
she never used. When I enquired, she said it didn't
work as well, and yes I could have it. I was also
allowed to take her old straight edge (marked off in
1/8th inches) for my own stash. (Now, a word of caution.
DO NOT use your wife's best cutter and straight edge.
She will invariably access a 10-yard penalty and go buy
10 yards of the most expensive cloth she has ever wanted
to use at the store!)

Now when I am tying gurglers or cutting chamois or anything
else that works best with straight cuts, I break out these
tools and go to work getting the nice even cuts that are
easier to work with. ~ Don
