Something that I 'found' a couple of years ago was a
roll of holographic Mylar wrapping paper. It is gold
on one side and Silver on the other. I have cut it
into strips for flash and added it under transparent
wing cases to some flies and it has been quite interesting
to work with. I have seen various colors and holographic
patterns in the wrapping isle at the dollar store and other
stores that carry that type of stuff. The best I have seen
recently was a red color with large eye shaped circles as
the holographic pattern. I neglected to buy that right
away, and it was gone on my next visit, but I am keeping
my eyes open.

Check out the wrapping aisle in your local stores and see
what you can come up with! ~ Don
