Double Edge Razor Blades
Nick Nalbone

Double edge razor blades are a problem. The back edge is dangerous, so here's a way to fix it.

Wearing your safety goggles and using pliers, break the blade in half. Take some electrical tape and put several layers on the broken edge. Fold the tape over the edge on the first layer.

You can use the super sharp blades without worrying about cutting yourself. The blade can even by curved by applying pressure to both ends to cut deer hair in muddler heads. ~ Nick Nalbone
