I have a second vise (Old Thompson A) set
up to the side when I tie flies.
When I am tying in Kyrstal Flash wings I
leave all of the flash material on the fly
and place it in the other vise. When the
second fly is ready for the wing, I then
cut the flash and move it to the second fly,
where all the ends are already even.
This makes it easier for me than picking
the material up off the bench. ~ Rick Zieger
