The LF and I were at JoAnn's Fabrics a while ago
and I spotted a whole bunch of these. They are
well made, nice and smooth, will hold a lot of
thread and have two legs that swing out so they
will stand up. A little engineering would also
allow you to hang one on a wall by your tying
bench.
They were only $12.95. If you are just getting
started out, this might work nicely for you. The
