Velcro on a Stick
By Pennington Wimbush

Pennington Wimbush, from Dillon Colorado, e-mailed this Tying Tip; which is short, simple, and to the point; . ~Steven H. McGarthwaite

Glue a patch of hook velcro to the end of a dowel, pencil, tongue blade, or popsicle stick as a handle for the combing operation. ~ Pennington Wimbush

At the Minnesota State Fair we have over 100 food items that are sold on a stick. Chocolate-covered Bananas, Dill Pickles, Grilled Alligator Tail, Frozen Tofu, Lutefish, and many more. I think I will fill out an application for a concession stand at the Fair, and make a ton of money.

Please check out the Fly Tying Section, on the Bulletin Board, on FAOL too.

If you have any questions, tips, or techniques; send them along. Someone else thought up most of this material before we did, they just forgot to tell anyone about it. Or else we just forgot about it, while learning something else. Let us share with each other, all the things we know! ~ Steven H. McGarthwaite (Chat Room AKA Parnelli)
