Try this one on bagels with a good cup of coffee stream side some
frosty morning. Goes well on bagels, crackers, celery or
anything else.
Put in a mixing bowl to soften then combine:
Two packets (one pound) cream cheese. (Neufchatel has less fat
and can be substituted)
1/4 pound feta cheese
2 tbs grated parmesan cheese
Finely chop:
1/2 red pepper
1/2 green pepper
12 Kalamata olives (no substitute, Australian and
Chilean olives will impart an off taste)
12 Manzanella (stuffed Spanish olives) Double if
Kalamata cannot be found
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 teaspoon capers
NOTE: to make measurements easy, use a measuring cup.
Fill to the 1/3 cup line with chopped red pepper, then on top
of that to the 2/3 mark with green pepper then to the 1 cup mark
with chopped olives. Pat down each ingredient but not too tightly.
Do it my way the first time then vary it to suit yourself next time
mix all ingredients together and put in the fridge overnight.
