Best Ever Ice Cream Dessert

The name on this one has been changed from 'Better Than *** Ice Cream Dessert' to protect the youngsters, (family site you know). You can figure it out.

Ingredients:

    1 box of honey graham crackers-crushed

    1-2 sticks of butter-melted

    ½ gallon of ice cream (easiest if bought in a "box" shape)

    16 oz. Cool Whip

    2-3 bananas-sliced

    1 large jar fudge topping

    16 oz bag of nuts of choice (walnuts and pecans work well)-crushed & divided in half

Method:

Mix enough melted butter into crushed graham crackers to make them stick together. Pat into 13 X 9 inch pan. Slice bananas, covering the graham cracker crust. Completely open ice cream box and slice ice cream, placing it on top of the bananas. Cover with the fudge topping. Sprinkle half of the nuts next and then top with the Cool Whip. Sprinkle the remainder of the nuts on top. Cover with foil and freeze.

Let set out about 5 minutes before cutting and serving. Number of servings depends on size of pieces cut. ~ Jean DeSavage sewdrapes@yahoo.com
