Apple Dumplings |
Directions:
1 heaping teaspoon Royal Baking Powder and a little salt.
Add enough sweet milk to make a dough just stiff enough to handle. Roll out 1/2 inch thick and cut into squares. Prepare apples as for pie. Place a few apples on each square, add a little butter, vanilla and cinnamon to each. Fold corners together [shown above] and bake as you would pie. Serve with any pudding sauce.
