3/4 slices bread (used sourdough for this recipe) 7" x 11' casserole dish or a 2 qt. casserole dish Crumble sausage in skillet and cook till all pink is gone. Spray dish with "Pam" or rub with butter. Take crusts off of bread and cut into cubes enough to cover bottom of dish. Scramble eggs with a whisk in a large bowl and add asparagus and corn. Stir gently to mix well. Spread sausage over bread cubes. Pour eggs and veggie mixture over sausage and bread and sprinkle with the cheese. Let stand for one (1) hour in frig or cooler if in the wilds. Bake at 350° for one (1) hour. (Start baking in a cold oven to avoid breaking the casserole dish).
