Ingredients
6 tbsp skim milk powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 tbsp baking powder 2 cups cold water 1 cup sugar 4 cups flour 1 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup raisins, cranberries, currents, or nuts or a mix of them.
MethodCream together butter and sugar. Add skim milk powder, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Add fruits or nuts. Gradually add water stirring well. Pour into well-greased 12" cast iron frying pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Remove from pan immediately and place on cooling rack. ~ Bob
