I use a razor blade to unravel the thread tags to be wrapped
'over' by gently scrapping the razor blades over the threads -
not to cut, but to unravel and flatten the threads. This produces
a much nicer transition under the overwraps. This also works
well on single inlays. ~ Capt. Paul
