SMOKE SALMON SPREAD

Tom Deschaine - November 30, 2009

There’s nothing like a relaxing few days at the cabin on the river. A fire in the fireplace, a good Manhattan and the company of a few good fishing buddies. On our outings one of the gourmet treats we always share is this, our favorite cracker spread. I hope you enjoy…

6 oz.    Smoked Salmon
2 t.       Lemon juice
1/8 t.    Salt
4 oz.    Cream Cheese
1 ½ t.   Prepared Horseradish

Drain the salmon and remove the skin and bones. Mix all the ingredients together and chill for several hours. Serve with your favorite salted crackers.  Saltines or Ritz are just fine.

See you on the water…..
