VEE'S FRY BREAD (Indian Fry Bread)

Ingredients

Combine pancake mix and flour in a bowl; gradually stir in water until dough becomes soft and pliable without sticking to bowl. Knead dough on lightly floured surface. Put dough in a lightly greased bowl and cover with a damp kitchen towel, let rest for 10-15 minutes.

Pinch or tear off desired size pieces of dough. Flatten to desired size, and poke a small hole in center of each piece with your finger. Fry in hot oil until golden turning once. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with butter, honey, jam or whatever you like :-)
