AMATO PRESS MAGAZINES
If you are like me, while I enjoy the convenience of easy and quick access on the Internet, I still enjoy picking up a book or a magazine and pursuing the articles. Fly Anglers Online has been blessed to have Amato Publications as a long time friend and these two magazines always hold a plethora of information on the sport of fishing for trout, salmon and steelhead.
The February issue of Salmon, Trout and Steelhead gives anglers a detailed account of the damage that is being done to the salmon and steelhead populations by seals and sea lions. This page article quotes a 15-page scientific study done by the 15 West Coast fisheries research biologist that indicates that the increasing numbers of these marine mammals is very negatively impacted the stock of salmon, steelhead and sea-run cutthroat.
The spring issue of Flyfishing & Tying Journal contains a number of interesting articles on fly tying; as well as articles on places to go, new equipment for fly fishers and how to articles.
