A YEAR END MEDLEY
Here is our Christmas card from the Ladyfisher and the Chronicler to all of our friends at FAOL. Enjoy, and we pray that each of you know the Christ behind the holiday that we call Christmas.
We started the year on the coast of Washington.
We enjoyed flowering trees in early March.
And more flowering trees
And even more flowering trees
We enjoyed views of the Olympic Mountains and Hood Canal
We had frogs in the small pond back of the house
Skunk Cabbage Flowers
We returned in Montana just in time to enjoy a bit of late winter weather
We soon headed to the high country to check out the Mountain Bluebird boxes
And soon we had a few guests
On Memorial Day we checked out the Madison River
A few days later we checked out a local reservoir
Our local spring creek
We enjoyed some spring wildflowers
We still had snow in the mountains the 4th of July
We did catch a few fish
We added a new member to the family
The Ladyfisher tried her hand on the Yellowstone
Fall came to Paradise Valley
We found time to play with a few more trout
Fog and fall color
Early snow reminded us it was time to follow the birds south
We enjoyed the red rock country of southern Utah
We arrived back in the Valley of the Sun
We are back to Saguaro cactus, prickly pear and mesquite
We had a neat fire truck visit our community
Merry Christmas
There have been many changes in our lives during 2010. We started out on the coast of Washington, spent the summer in the Yellowstone valley in Montana, and now we are spending the winter in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. God has richly blessed us, and it is our Christmas wish for all our readers that you find each day a blessing.
