Trucos de montaje

Mono Thread
By Henry Hoffman, Oregon

Mono thread can be bought cheaply at febrics shops or craft stores. It can be used as a basic wrap on hook shanks where you want the hook shank color to come up from underneath. I use this on my shad flies with silver hooks and translucent pearl ribbon floss bodies. I have found that dark or off-color thread will show through floss or other translucent materials when wet, often changing the look of the fly considerably. ~ HH
