I have memories as a youth fishing the
catalpa worms with my Dad for copperhead
bream.*G* I'd get hollered at if I put
one on the hook rightside out, but it surely
was a yucky thing to turn them wrongside out.*G*

As far as a fly pattern, I know of none
tied wrongside out, but this pattern I
received from Biot Midge here on FAOL
certainly reminds me of the catalpa worms.
I've not yet had an opportunity to fish
them but am convinced they will work well
here.*G*
