I haven't been able to confirm this...but I know this stream hasn't been stocked in many many years. And other such streams in MO were stocked with McCloud strain Rainbow Trout way back then. So, its possible that is what this is. I've seen pictures of McCloud strain Rainbows, and they look like these to me....but I don't know if there is a way to tell them apart just by looking at them.
