Thread: Shhan?

    Default Shhan?

I saw this acronym in this forum, and would like to know what it represents...
I?m sure it has something to do with finishing off a fly after it?s been tied...
    Thx ~

SHHAN is the shorthand for "Sally Hansen Hard As Nails", the alternative, cheaper too, for finishing off the fly and sealing the thread wraps. When we do our tying classes I always mention it!

Yup. I need to get a new bottle. Can't find my old one since I moved. Just got a table and tying area set up.

Do they still make this stuff? The last Sally store I was in didn't have it.

I find it at the bid discount stores or pharmacy type places.

I just got a new bottle at Walmart. Looks like the shape of the bottle has changed just a bit. $1.97 + tax.
