    Here is a link to the same blanks. Lamiglas produced them as blanks I believe under the label "firecane". They also offered rods built under different name on the same blank as a factory rod. Can't recall the name of them though. I believe the blanks were only available through Anglers Workshop. There was a 6' 3wt and 7' 3wt, both 2-peice. I believe the 7'6" 4wt and 8' 5wt were 3-piece. It's been a while though. But the factory rod and the blank were one-in-the-same.

    So, as I understand it, the blanks sold to Anglers Workshop from Lamiglas were designated Firecane...a Lamiglas named product?
    When you can arrange your affairs to go fishing, forget all the signs, homilies, advice and folklore. JUST GO.

    As I recall. They were the exact same specs as their factory built rods.
