Thread: Fore and Aft flies

    Earlier this year, I had been seeing a large number of both yellow and line sallies toward dark, with fish obviously hammering them. I took fish with a Renegade fished wet, but wanted something that I could see a bit better in fading light that I might fish dry, and which I could skate.


    Here's the fore-and-aft fly I came up with. Of course, I haven't seen any stoneflies of any sort since then, but I'm ready for next year:
