    Those will hunt, I like the 1/124 oz. size, doesn't cast like a sledgehammer on the end of the line and gets down deep enough where I fish. Nice job BTW, the lead head will get beat up on the rocks, but the fish don't seem to mind that and they do not hang up as much as regular nymphs.

    I totally agree! And I bet they are dynamite through the ice. I always have a few pheasant tail jigs with me this time of year... might need to try a copper john or prince!

    I cast 1/8 bead heads all the time but these don't cast as a heavy fly. But re looking I use the 1/124 too. Ones in the picture are the smaller.

    Thanks for the Cabelas link, FG. I couldn't figure out how you got beads up the close to the eye and at that angle. Definitely worth a try. Great looking set of nymphs!
