I would agree with Warren P and Newtyer1 about using fish attractant, I personally don't believe in it and wouldn't use it myself.
I believe in using your fly box for selection of flies to catch trout, not fish attractant. Example, yesterday Warren P & myself fished together, I bet we tried 7 to 8 different flies and constantly switching up to catch the browns and rainbow we did catch. We both tie our own flies and to me that was the thrill and satisfaction of catching the fish we caught, now did we catch fish every cast, No! Like Warren P said, I honestly feel you will get more satisfaction from learning to present your flies correctly to catch your share of fish. This is just my opinion only.
