Thread: Question on Sieves for Sampling Hatches

    Took an old nylon stocking and put it over my landing net to sift the drift; if the water was shallow enough I could also hold it downstream and dislodge some rocks with my foot or hand to catch some of the stuff crawling/clinging to the bottom.
