    Thanks for the suggestion. I usually fish it in the across and down method. I mend as it first hits the water to have it in the film and then let the current and bend to fish it on the swing as a rising emerger. However, if I see a rise, I false cast to dry it and then offer it as a cripple just as you would a dry fly

    I use a dry fly hook
