    black bucktail crickets--

one October Indian Summer day a couple of years ago my fishing education took a big leap forward when i opened my ears while changing flies. heard crickets. happened to have one, so i tied it on. WHAM my largest fish up to then, an 18" wild brown. on my 3 WT. been passionately hooked ever since.

now i don't leave home without one.
