I don't think this is bluegill. The bluegill that come out of this creek look like this:


The bluegill and this fish have a different shape to them. Also, the unidentified fish has a mouth that opens bigger than a bluegill's. I'm leaning toward either a green sunfish or a hybrid between multiple bream species. I don't think it is a Redear/Shellcracker because they are shaped the same as a bluegill, but they have the reddish orange border around the black on their gill cover.

As for the bug, I looked it up and it definitely is a dragonfly nymph. Thanks for helping me on that.
