I received this e-mail today, I can't blame Bruce he has more than done his 'bit'.

The Salmon Farm Protest Group
1st March 2007
This is to inform you that the SFPG has today lodged a request with Companies House, Edinburgh for ?striking off? and, as such, will, with immediate effect, close.
As I approach my 70th birthday I have decided that, during whatever years might remain to me, I should spend more time fishing and writing about things other than salmon farming.
I would like to thank everyone for the support that they have given the SFPG over the years. It has been very much appreciated and I honestly believe that we have raised public awareness about the issues involved in the business of salmon farming - in our first year, 2002, our website received 20,000 hits. In 2006 it received 400,000.
I hope you will understand my reasons for taking this decision and thank you all again.
With best wishes from Hysbackie
Yours sincerely
