To be honest, I can't answer that. I can tell you that Stony is probably one of the more remote creeks in PA though. It is located entirely in a narrow heavily wooded valley with no development on it at all except for the lower 4 or 5 miles. It was also once a coal crick, but it's been cleaner for a lot longer than the Wiconisco. If there is a creek in Central PA that stays cool Stony is probably it.
