Tag your flies. You can print from a PC or write you hook size, materials used, name of the fly and your own. No set way jut provide a little info so folks know what the fly is and who tied it.

    WE NEED ONE MORE TYER!!!!!!

If you still have that last opening, I'll tie the Jassid?

I think that I'll give the Abino serpent a try for my pattern

So how many swappers do we have now? My flies are done and I'll drop them in the mail sometime this week.

We now have 12 swappers. Only 11 flies need to be tied.

You folks that have already sent in your flies are making me feel guilty. I have tied a couple of the flies, but I am struggling with the bucktail wings. It is challanging getting the individual colors of the wing not to blend. It is taking me a little longer than I anticipated.I will have them all completed by the end of next week. I am really excited about this swap. I am always interested in unique flies. This swap will have unique flies.

Bugtyer, my suggestion for tying the bucktail wing for the Beaux would be to tie on the first color, apply Zap-a-Gap. Tie on the next color after it dries. Apply some more glue, when that dries, tie on the last portion of the wing. Glue again.

ALSO!!! Nixon's pattern had the bead chain eyes on the top of the fly. However, I have seen this tied with Clouser eyes on the top too. This will only cause the fly tie turn upside down when being fished. Therefore, the pattern is useless. I either tie small plastic bead chain eyes on the top or yellow and black Clouser eyes on the bottom right below where they should be. Also, apply adhesive to the dumbbell eyes. Hope I haven't confused you too much. Email me if you have any questions.
