Joshua -- by my count we now have six tiers. We just completed a ice fly swap with that many. I'm okay with half a load if everyone else is. JGW

    Joshua,
Is the White Tail Palmer Gnat one of Nixons flies? I'll give it a whirl, if you'll have me.

Betty, not sure that the White Tail Palmer Gnat is a Nixon pattern. Do you have info suggesting otherwise? Also, White43, I have to hand it to you, thanks for keeping the list at the top. Great job. Been in and out of town lately. I think we may make it to 12 tyers. 9 is my count. I still haven't decided what to tie. Come on folks. 3 more spots left!!!

Sounds close enough for me, Betty. Now I've gotta find me a yellow calf tail, dyed that is, not stained! JGW

One place shows it as the "white tailed black gnat palmered", my book shows it as "white tail palmer gnat". I'll go to the library and see if I can come up with Nixons book. This panfishing is all new to me! My brain needs a mid winter challange.

You are fine. Betty, don't worry about running to the library. That'll be fine. I think your pattern may be Nixonish but still holds true to a Nixon type pattern.
