I found out my problem (in part) return spring broken on the spool stopped it from allowing the spool lever to be moved far enough so I could remove the spool. I lubed 90% of the reel. The last 10% does not seem to want to come apart and I don't want to break it just yet. Letter was sent to Redington looking for advise on proper disassembly.
As for the stripper (basket that is) I always interested in something that makes stripping easier and more productive.
