Anyone know if there are any good fly fishing or outdoor stores in Lexington? I have to travel there on business this Wednesday, 3/30. Will be there Wednesday and Thursday night and would like to check out a few stores.
Thanks for your help.

Try The Sporting Traditions in the civic center mall. Right in the Rupp Arena area. They are an Orvis shop, nice people. ps, don't slip on all of the Kentucky Wildcat tears on the way in!
Thats real cold sport. GO CARDS!!!!

Dave's Outdoor Outfitters is another store located in the Woods Center Shops (I think). You can look them up in the phone book when you get there.
Dick's Sporting Goods is located in the Hamburg Pavilion area just off I-75.
There are a number of other outdoor stores that are geared toward the hiking/backpacking types throughout Lexington.
I went to college just south of Lexington and spent alot of time there. If I can be of any assistance, let me know.

Bass Angler,
I have two sons going to UK. We lived in Lexington for 10 years, they really take losses hard down there. I'm pulling for the Cards too, having to take on number one (IL) is Rick Pitino's dream!
