Hit up the Koi and Goldfish. Tried a different fly/technique, since the fish have gotten wise to me. Worked well, using a beadhead Y2K fly, no indicator, I caught 11 Koi and 14 Goldfish.

With all the fun you are having you may have to pay a tax.

Ah, shoot! I'd better file my paperwork declaring my fun a "not for profit" ordeal!

Thanks, Dennis. The variations of colors and patterns of those Koi is endless. And they are surprisingly strong!

Dave, who's koi pond are you fishing in? I think in my 3rd pond, I still kept gold fish before I went to all koi. I decided to get all of the gold fish out by netting them with a seine. The fish didn't cooperate, so out with the size 20 hooks and something that looked like a pellet. Brought the chair out to the pond and caught and sold the Goldies off to a local pet shop. I do remember a partical koi that I hooked that was too fast for me to pull the hook away. Should have seen the strange looks that the neighbors gave me.

Glad you're still having fun my friend.

Hello, Clay! Good to see you post here again!
These were caught in a very public spot that allows C&R fishing.
