    @qqualls It's a great fly! I've taken bass, bluegill, and crappie with it. Our top producing color combos are yellow chenille body/wht round rubber legs & black chenille body/wht rubber legs. The fish can't resist the fluttering legs as the fly is going down. Try to keep a tight line, and you'll be good to go. The original pattern has the lead wire going from the back towards the front. As far as the chenille, we've used medium size. It does well in pockets of open water in weeds, and the edges of weed lines. Good luck

    Thank you for your color suggestions and tips on fishing it. I actully got to fish one Saturday for about an hour at a nearby pond. I am pleased with how well the fly worked in that particular pond.
