50 Years Ago This November

He left this earth at 40 years old. He left behind 6 children and a devoted wife. She was 39 years old when he went away. She is 89 years old now.

This photo was taken in 1958 when Ma and Dad moved to Gays Mills from Milwaukee. They moved out of the big city that was filled with crime to a small town in Southwestern Wisconsin to raise their children in a safe environment.

It is Mother's Day tomorrow.

Have you called your mother lately?

Have you told her you love her lately?

When was the last time you visited her?

Have you thanked her for being such a good mom?

Where would you be without her?

Great tribute to your mother. Mine has been gone to be with her Lord 27 years but she still remains in my heart. Be ever so thankful that you still have your mother to appreciate.

Mine's been gone for a few years and I still catch myself picking up the phone to call her once in a while.
