Anyone tying on Regal's Revolution Vise? I am wondering if the counterbalance on the vise head eliminates the uneven rotation.
Thanks

Hi Byron,
I have one and tie streamers on it but don't use it that often because I collect vises and have a ton so I rotate through. The counter balance while it looks odd does make the vise spin buttery smooth similar to a nor vise. I have the big game jaws and the stainless steel for the revolution and they both rotate equally as well.
I saw that at one point you owned then sold a Swiss vise. I just bought one and love the different ways you can set it up but I found the hook holding power lacking, I was wondering if you have the same issue? If you put enough to pressure on a hook eye it will slip. I do not have that issue on any of the other vises I own, the hook will bend or break before it slips.

Hi,
I still have my Swiss Master. I had a bit of a problem when I first received it. I sent it back and got it back with payment for my having shipped it. The problem was not that the jaws didn't hold.........for some reason, the mechanism which tightens and holds the jaws in position had not been properly set. Works perfectly after having it adjusted by Petijean folks.
Vise works perfectly! Great hook holding ability.
Happy New Year.
