And where?
Right now it looks like I will be able to get out in Kern River system on Monday of next week. Things are still a little high but are settling down nicely.
And you?

Sorry about the scowl ~~ I didn't see it highlighted until after I posted. I am really not angry, really.
Ha ha , I wondered what the scowl was all about! I have been fishing almost every day for the last 5 weeks or so. The lakes have all turned over now and some of them are spectacular. I stillwater fish any of about 100 lakes within 100 miles of where I live. I am retired so I take a tent and some supplies with me. I fish with my Son and Grandson. We go camping for about a week at a time hitting several lakes each trip.
For God's sake, Don't Quote me! I'm Probably making this crap up!
Me, ME ... ME!
I'm driving down tonight and meeting a newcomer tomorrow morning.
Overcast skies, ... water level has been dropping for 4 days, Grisles are even arriving, ... first sea run brookies were spotted last night under the covered bridge and bee lining it for the upper reaches ...
This could we very interesting

Provided the winds don't increase to Mach XI, Linda and I will be chasing tails Saturday on the flats...redfish tails, that is.

I was old one day last week, and didn't like it, but I'm better now...

Well, I just went over on the Wilson/Nestucca last weekend, and I'm planning on hitting either the Metolius or the Crooked next weekend when I'm over there for the bamboo thing at Camp Sherman, so I think I'll just stay in and tie up a bunch of flies this weekend.

The Gunpowder is calling again. I'll be fishing one of my favorite stretches that is apparently no one else's favorite stretch...unbelievable. I'll be chucking everything under the sun - hoppers, beetles, ants, caddis, and even a streamer or two. The big'uns are in there...
Good luck y'all, tight lines.
Marty
If all goes right I will be on the North Umpqua. If things don't go right I will probably be fishing the little creek that runs thru the neighbors dairy farm.

Does lunch today count as the weekend? Just got back from chasing the gills and little basses.
I haven't been fishing in a while, I just bought a new house and am trying to get everything in order....maybe I can talk my Prince into going out with me for a little while this weekend.
