Okay, since I've decided to have multiple copies of my license to ensure I have one, what do you out there use to store your license in?
Thanks,
Mike

We can down load a pdf file copy and print off as many copies as we like. I have one in a business card carrier, one in my float tube pocket, one in my wader pocket and one in my fly pack. I laminated them with clear packing tape to add some waterproofing. Maybe I should have it tattoed on my bald head also.

Jesse, nope no tattoo since you get a new license every year. Try an elmarko.
I use a waterproof license holder, clear plastic and two sealable sections. I carry it in my Mayfly lanyard which I always have with me when I go fishing.

I like to laminate mine.
I think that most states have printable licenses now.
I print off a few copies, sign them, and then spray some acrylic conformal coating on them.
The spray saturates the paper and makes it pretty waterproof. It also makes the paper tougher to tear and makes it wear better.
I keep a copy in my truck, one in my laptop computer bag, and one in my fishing hat.
My hat has a pocket on the inside with a velcro closure. That way I know I will always have my license with me.
Here in Canada, we have what is called an `Outdoors Card`. It is the same as a credit card with your identification info and card number on the front, can be either for hunting or fishing and your licence information is printed on the back side of the card. As there are many options for the licencing, annual renewals or out of province licences come in the form of a sticker that adheres to a spot on the back of the card. It`s quite handy, basically indestructible and just like a credit card, so I keep it in a small credit card wallet that goes into whatever vest, chest pack, raincoat, etc that I`m taking with me on a particular outing. Never have to worry about wet soggy papers ever again.

I just have a friend hold on to mine...
Thanks all, great ideas. The NH license is about 11" long with lots empty space. If it is was smaller in size it would be easier. I like the cover it with tape idea, as long as I don't tape myself to it! I did save the pdf so I can print as many copies as I want. smij, can I borrow your friend for those busy days on the water?

Having popped over the 65-year-old threshhold my lifetime hunting/fishing license is now a plastic "credit card". However for years I have used the old metal pin-on holders; this one happens to be on my hunting vest but I have one on my fishing vest and one on my tackle bag containing license copies. They're not very water proof but I like the vintage look and feel. Kansas never had one so I have to reply on those from other states; this one is from New Hampshire in tribute to Corey Ford...

I have to have the original in my possession. If I lose it, I have to buy a duplicate. Multiple copies won't work for me.
I just use the free plastic holders that are available where I buy my license.
