    Question F terrestrial fly pattern?

What is a F terrestrial fly pattern? I found it on the web. I'm not sure how to post a link but if you google "f terrestrial fly pattern" it'll show where it's at. The website has some very good instructional videos. And it shows a picture and he sells them but he don't post a recipe. The website is called onstream-guide.com. He says it is sort of a generic type terrestrial pattern.

    Thanks in advance,
    hNt

The "F" means that it's a variant of the F Fly. "F" stands the last name of Marjan Fratnik, its inventor. The original is tied with thread and CDC. It looks like the F Terrestrial Pattern just adds plump body of peacock herl to make it look more like a beetle.

In honor of John Scott, I would suggest adding rubber (or silicon, etc...) legs to the terrestrial version. Actually, it isn't necessarily a bad idea with the original. Instead of tying the original, Hans Weilenmann has a video of the improved F fly which should hold up better than the original pattern with its exposed thread body, which a peacock body should accomplish. He also had a suggestion for the wing. The video link is below.

P.S. Hans, please upload more videos!
