anyone? decent rod? worth $100???
Which model is it, just curious. Chances are it is either a medium/fast or a fast rod. Sage only made a couple medium action rods (but they were great ). But, $100 for a used Sage? Yes, it is worth it. Our club just had a picnic last night and several used Sage rods were sold there, at prices of $250 and up. The 2 weight rod will be a kick on smaller fish.

I am with sagefisher on this in that any Sage rod in good condition is worth $100. Even if you do not like it, after purchasing it, you should have no problem selling it and getting your money back. I am willing to bet a Graphite III would be a Med/Fast rod.

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.
it is a 279 LL 2 weight 7 foot 9 model in excellent condition. i picked it up and a Lamson 1 reel with SI dt line for $250.
You got a deal!
As I recall that LL series is highly thought of...some more than others.
took rod and reel to the stream and had a great time, man can that rod place a #18 Elk Hair Caddis right where it needs to be, by far the best rod i have owned!
