Who wants to go fishing?

Dear Board,

I'm sort of a newbie and I'm just waking up.

I like to fly fish for trout, but I also like to just fish for everything else.

I'm hoping you folks will help to tell me all I need to know about fly fishing for the other fish.

What other type of fish do you like to fish for. Depending on the type of fish, you might
need a heavier weight rod than you are using for trout. Like I use a 7 weight for
smallmouth bass and steelhead, a 8 weight for
salmon and largemouth and a 10 weight for
norhteren and musky.

check out the other boards to see what is going on. This place has a great warmwater board with good discussions on techniques, flies, and gear for so called "less desireable species", yeah right.
